Honoring caregivers with support that starts through connection.
November is National Family Caregivers Month, a time to recognize the quiet strength of those who show up for others every day. Caregiving can be rewarding, but it’s also demanding—and no one should walk that path alone. This month is about reminding caregivers that they deserve care too.
At MY FAVE FIVE, we believe connection sustains resilience. With the Connection feature in the app, support is never far away. Whether you’re a caregiver yourself, or supporting someone who is, small steps toward connection make a big difference.
Action Steps for November
1. Build Your Circle of Care
Caregivers often put others first, but they need trusted people in their corner as well. The Connection tab makes it easy to invite someone to be your FAVE, or to become someone else’s first FAVE—reminding them that support is just a tap away.
Action Step
Invite a caregiver you know to make you their first FAVE, or complete your own star by adding another trusted contact. Badge: Connection
2. Share the Load
Caring for others can be isolating. Asking for help—or offering it—creates space for balance. Through the app, you can check in with your FAVE FIVE, send encouragement, or receive it when you need it most.
Action Step
Choose one caregiver or FAVE FIVE member and send them a quick check-in message this week: “Thinking of you.” Badge: Support
3. Care for Yourself Too
You can’t pour from an empty cup. Caregivers need time to reset, whether that’s a short mindfulness practice, a walk outdoors, or a moment of kindness toward themselves. Pairing Connection with the app’s Mindfulness or Coping tabs helps protect your own well-being.
Action Step
Schedule one short mindfulness session in the app this week—even just 60 seconds—to recharge. Badge: Mindfulness
4. Connection Is Strength
Caregiving is powerful, but it shouldn’t be lonely. This November, let’s honor caregivers by giving them what they give so freely: presence, empathy, and support.
Action Step
Open the MY FAVE FIVE app today and take one step toward connection—for yourself or for someone else. Badge: Connection
